Ridley, C. A., & Feldman, C. M. (2003). Female Domestic Violence toward male partners: Exploring Conflict Responses and Outcomes. Journal of Family Violence, 18(3), 157–170. Participants were 153 female volunteers who completed the Abusive Behavior Inventory. A review article which concludes that female violence towards intimate male partners is just as severe and has similar consequences as male violence toward women. However, most criminal justice interventions and custody evaluations assume that males are more likely to be IPV perpetrators. Reference: Dutton, D. G. (2007). Female intimate partner violence and developmental trajectories of abusive families. International Journal of Men’s Health, 6, 54–71.

Author concludes that ‘‘when domestic violence-related suicides are combined with domestic homicides, the total numbers of domestic violence-related deaths are higher for males than females.’’ Reference: Davis, R. L. (2010). Domestic Violence-related deaths. Journal of Aggression, Conflict, and Peace Research, 2 (2), 44–52.
DVWMT has willingly spent over ten years properly educating males on domestic violence. Since 1975, when the domestic violence movement started, we have never considered our sons as helpless victims of domestic violence. Just like little girls, little boys are born into domestic violence, but they don't get prevention strategies, such as "devising an exit." ~QueenAfi

Join the men for some purple table talk with Chris Barnes and Gary "King G Kali" Hynson, who will be our group lead, and these brothers are sharing secrets, dark clouds, and distress for brothers that have been taught emotionally wrong things like "suck up" or "get over it" or "men don't cry" or "whatever your partner does, walk away" or "I didn't raise no xyz." “Famous Listeners,” these topics carefully advise males and females on how to positively foster hard-topic meaningful dialogue at any essential point in their lives coping with the tragedies of domestic violence and education of mental health. Disclaimer: The critical priorities for DVWMT are precisely to ensure personal safe space, respect, and confidentiality for our distinguished guest scholars and visitors on our platform (please excuse any graphic content because nothing about domestic violence is pleasant).
